Sara Nevis is a writer, photographer and multimedia journalist based in Sacramento, California. At 18 she joined the Air Force and became an Air Traffic Controller traveling the world. She has always enjoyed meeting new people and learning about their culture and Italy was an amazing place to do that at 19. After the military she tried a few different career fields trying to find what was fulfilling and enjoyable. She explored photography after helping a friend on photo shoots and realized she truly enjoyed and loved the challenge that each photo shoot brings. She enjoys getting to know her clients and creating a relaxed and fun environment to capture their special moment. She just graduated from Sacramento State with a BA in Journalism. She worked as a visual journalist at The Sacramento Bee and currently works as a photographer for the CA Dept. of Water.
